How can a not-for-money website offer free articles, e-books and tests that tell essential facts you'll find no where else?
  1. Smoking,
  2. stress and
  3. overweight and obesity interact and each threat shines a unique light of understanding on the others and on something hidden from us and exceedingly important: health risk denial. Link to our recently added health risk test.

Chronic psychological stress, ongoing overweight and nicotine smoking won't be adequately studied and understood separately or by an unqualified expert or in a library or lab.

This site doesn't want your or anyone else's money. So it can afford to be politically incorrect when that's required to serve unhealthy and at-risk adults and the children they influence. Nearly all wellness or health promotion sites (including .edu and .gov pages) exist to help get money and need to be diplomatic.

Are you an adult and not yet hopelessly lost in denial encouraged by experts or already too misled by political (to make a profit) correctness? You are able to pay attention to very important politically incorrect facts. For example, most former and periodically-trying-to-quit nicotine smokers replace the puffing on butts they mistakenly think relieves their stress with eating too much or drinking alcohol and with "comfort" foods. The "big push" to get people to quit smoking more likely caused the "global obesity epidemic" and not factors such as eating more fast foods and junk foods and exercising less. You deserve to know the way to Best Wellness.

When you travel on the actual road to that wonderful place, you do one or more of the following:

  • You safely and soon get your body more fit or leaner.
  • You surely and safely get free of most hidden psychological stress and injured self-esteem along with their disabling emotions like anxiety, anger and depression. Also, you rid yourself of behavioral symptoms of those ongoing and unwarranted burdens such as procrastination and blocked willpower: strong and persistent motivation. You avoid adding the unhealthy physical stress and moods that threaten relationships.
  • You get rid of nicotine (smoking, dipping, chewing, patching) and don't replace it with another threat: nicotine addiction transfer. You keep from substituting with another hurtful dependence such as alcohol or the excess body fat that increases healthcare costs more than nicotine smoking.

Once you arrive, you call and give directions to Best Wellness to children and other folks you love. So they can follow and join you there.

Later, when living in that terrific place,

  • you happily and safely stay lean enough. Or if never chronically overweight, you can prevent becoming fat.
  • You remain free of most damaging hidden stress, from its addictions and other hurtful symptoms.
  • You avoid taking up smoking (chewing, dipping or patching) or going back to nicotine. And you don't keep from doing so by taking up something about as risky – like overeating.
  • You are protected from the many attempts to sabotage and weaken your confidence.

Now, unfortunately and through no fault of your own, you carefully follow "signs" or directions experts and others promised would guide you to Best Wellness. Sometimes it might seem you're close, but you don't arrive.

The reason you get turned around or lost more than you lose weight, destructive stress or nicotine is that nearly all the "signs" are wrong, false, untrue. They are only politically correct. Those "signs" direct you down gosh-awful trails that money-motivated or misinformed authorities want you to take. After all your efforts and time spent, you still are nowhere near Best Wellness.

When you want to get there soon enough to protect yourself and someone who needs you or will someday, it's essential to know which widely promoted and accepted notions (signs) to ignore. Avoid being misled! Those misdirecting signs are politically correct UNTRUTHS.
